Current Main Interests:

Dairy Cow Nutrition:
to maximize efficiency of nutrient utilization for milk production. 
  1. Strategic management of phosphorus feeding of lactating dairy cows in Louisiana; 
  2. Impact of different feeds on manure nutrient content.

Dairy Nutrient Management:
to develop and improve methods for manure treatment and recycling of nutrients. 
  1. Potential environmental impact of handling, storage and utilization of manure management; 
  2. Wastewater sequential treatment in anaerobic/aerobic lagoons/constructed wetlands;
  3. Effects of management practices on manure nutrient composition and losses.
