Jackson Parish 4-H’er blossoms through daylily research
Nick Walker
(Distributed 07/22/08) A 13-year-old Jackson Parish 4-H’er has his own line of daylilies, has already won sweepstakes awards in flower shows, written an article for an international publication and won the best in agriculture award in the state science fair junior division. Nick Walker, an honor roll student and Student of the Year at Quitman High School, also hopes his daylily experimentation may make him a million dollars some day.
4-H Camp Code of Conduct Form
The Code of Conduct Form should be reviewed and signed by the 4-H'er and Parent or Guardian then returned to the 4-H Office prior to the event.
Parental Consent to Administer Medication at 4-H Camp
This form must be completed if medication is to be given to your child during a 4-H event/activity. Medication should be in original pharmacy container and, along with this form, must be given to the 4-H agent or other staff responsible for the event.
Adult 4-H Health Form
Provides a link to the Louisiana 4-H Adult Health Form which must be completed, signed and returned to the 4-H Office prior to the 4-H event.
4-H Overnight Permission/Health Form
Provides a link to the Permission/ Health Form required for all 4-H overnight events.
Learn The 4-H Club Pledge
Learn the 4-H Pledge to earn fun 4-H prizes from your Agent. The pledge is recited at the beginning of each club meeting, so you should know it soon. Remember, you never know when your agent will ask you to recite it - maybe at your 4-H meeting - so be prepared! Happy pledging!
